STEPHEN L, LAGOW, M, Photographer, Cr,, ASP Fellow

Stephen is one of sixty-five International Photography Fellows. He also holds the Master of Photography and Craftsman titles. In 2003 he received the Professional Photographers of America Excellence Award. A majority of his awards have been received from images of portraits of clients like yourselves. His work has been exhibited in the EPCOT Kodak Gallery in Orlando, Florida twice along with being selected for the ASP National Traveling Loan Exhibition several years in a row. He has received numerous state, regional and national awards.

MARGE LAGOW, Cr,, Portrait Consultant

Marge works with each client during their consultation times planning out each session and streamlining it to fit their personalities and desires. She works very much like an interior designer helping determine the 'themes' of the portrait along with helping with the selection of the clothing that will best fit the image you are wanting to convey. It is not unusual for her to go to the home and help the mother and wife select the clothing for the family group portraits.

STEPHANIE LAGOW DETAR, M-Photographer, CPP, CR

Stephanie has been in photography most of her life. She has worked and had additional training in Vermont. Her specialty is working with children along with creating many of our Relationship Images. Stephanie also adds a photojournalist style to the weddings she and Stephen photograph. She has received many state, regional and national awards in the few years she been participating in competitions. In additional, Stephanie is one of the youngest speakers on the photography circuit at this time.

JOSH G. DETAR, Wedding Portrait Artist

In 2005 Josh DeTar joined the "team" not only professional but personally. Josh photographs weddings along with Stephen & Stephanie. He has already begun to win awards for his creative details and exciting candids. In May of 2006 he also joined the "family" when he and Stephanie were married. Now, as newlyweds, Stephanie and Josh truly understand what it's like to experience the wedding day through their eyes of a bride and groom. This has enhanced their ability to capture even more of the emotion of the day for our clients.

THE GALLERY:

The Gallery is located at 214E. Fourth in Joplin, Mo. We moved to this location in March of 2001. Clients meet at the gallery for their Pre Portrait Consultation and being planning out the session.
